Another one of our community’s hidden secrets! Locally owned businesses add so much value to our county. I know the trend to shop online is big and growing bigger every day. But there are some things best purchased in person, like a mattress! I did do a lot of research online, before hitting the road to find the “perfect mattress,” for us.
I was pleasantly surprised when I met Darrell, at Mattress Avenue of Glen Lakes. There was no pressure and no gimmicks. Darrell offered simple selection suggestions, based upon our physical needs. Taking all of the options in, we had to make some decisions. It took us almost two weeks to determine exactly what we wanted. But we knew all along, we would purchase our new mattress from Darrell, at Mattress Avenue.
In the end, we shopped small and SAVED BIG! So, please keep Mattress Avenue in mind when you’re looking for excellent customer service, an awesome price, and an great night’s sleep.

We went to one of the corporate stores and felt like a number and the people did not know what they were selling. Then we went into Mattress Avenue, met Darrell and the rest is history. He explained he had been in business for over 20 years and the business was 100% family owned. Darrell was very knowledgeable as he answered our questions. That first visit we purchased a new bed and 11 days later it was delivered. The bed had to be manufactured which we like as we knew we were purchasing a brand new bed and not one that had been sitting in the warehouse awaiting sale. The delivery guys Joe and Brody were very professional and took great care moving the old bed to a new room and installing the new bed. We will recommend Mattress Avenue to anyone we know in the market for a new bed. I was considering shopping on line for a mattress set but Mattress Avenue could do more for me than Amazon or any on line seller. Mattress Avenue could meet my budget and sleep comfort needs. As well, they not only installed my mattress set, they carted off the heavy old set, which is something Amazon couldn’t do for me. The delivery team was professional (nice guys). Unlike other mattress companies Mattress Avenue offers a family like experience. Olivia listened to what I needed and found the best option within my budget. I was moving and needed a bed that day. With COVID, many companies did not have one or pushed to sell me something with less quality or higher pricing. Olivia did not start with her high end front room options but went to her sale room and found me their best selection within the price I wanted. It was like working with a friend. We had a great experience at Mattress Avenue in the Glen Lakes Plaza. We needed a bed ASAP and Darrell there found one available that was better than expected as far as quality for a low price. The best part too was that our mattress was delivered the very next day since it was in their warehouse. The drivers were friendly and efficient. On a whole it was a wonderful experience and we will be shopping here again.

Great Experience
My wife and I just bought property in timber pines. We needed to furnish the house while we were here. We went to see Mattress Avenue and met Anthony. He provided us service that included an education in mattress technology. He showed us mattresses that met our budget and had them delivered the same day so we did not have to sleep on the floor! Very rare to get that type of service. We highly recommend this store if you need a mattress!

I will say starting out mattress shopping, I put if off for a few weeks because I didn’t know what I was looking for. I never bought a mattress before. Can’t praise this company enough. Went to the store about 5:30 after work and the door was locked. I saw someone inside and knocked on the window. A gentlemen by the name of Anthony answered and let my wife and I in to have a look. Seems the owner had a family emergency and had to leave for the day. Anthony was hanging around until the last truck that was out showed back up.
Anthony was kind enough to show us around the store, answered all the questions we had and had a great knowledge of the best mattress and adjustable bed we were looking for. Anthony and I then spent the next hr chatting about family, Spring Hill, sports, NY, pizza etc….. the same kind of stuff you and your best friend would chit chat about. Cannot say enough about Darryl and his level of customer service. He went above and beyond what I would have expected and certainly did surpassed the store where I actually purchased my bed from. I am about 2 hours south of Mattress Avenue and after repeated delays from my local mattress store I reached out to Darryl to see if he could supply me with the mattress that I wanted to purchase. He made several calls on my behalf and found the same bed that could be delivered within the week – it was a specialty order. He even offered it at a savings. Upon trying to cancel my order with my local store – they found the “missing” bed and it was scheduled for delivery the next day.
Long story short Darryl was fantastic without any benefit to him – he even followed up with me after delivery – something which my local company didn’t even bother to do. I would recommend Darryl and Mattress Avenue to anyone. As a business owner I would be happy to have Darryl as my store manager – THANKS!

Awesome place. We needed an adjustable bed for medical reasons for my wife. I looked at all the major stores from Wesley Chapel to Tampa. I was referred to Mattress Avenue by friend so I made the hour drive to Spring Hill. I could not believe how helpful Anthony and Darrell were. I showed them pictures of the mattresses and adjustable frames my wife had decided on and not only did they have them, they beat the price by @ 40%. Hello Everyone!!! – Like a lot of other mattress shoppers, my wife and I spent way too much of our time reading mattress ads, following up at several stores to see their “incredible prices” on what usually turned out to be some low end piece of junk that the sales person would then try to convince you not to buy. Meaning they want you to spend more. This particular bed was for a guest room, so we didn’t need anything high end for nightly, year round comfort – actually, we’re not that crazy about most our house guests anyway ;-). Seriously, if we visit friends and their guest room mattress wasn’t picked up from a curb somewhere, we are happy to have a decent place to sleep for free. Anthony showed us a number of options and most importantly listened to what we told him about our budget/guests/etc and the deal was done in less than 20 minutes. We spent more time talking about several current social and political issues than we spent haggling on price. And they delivered the mattress for FREE. So, all you mattress shoppers should save yourself the time and headache of all the driving around and call Darrell (owner) or Anthony, tell them what you are looking for and they will help you out. We will be buying a replacement mattress for our room as soon as our budget allows and we know our best price, product and service will be from Mattress Avenue.

My Husband and I went shopping for Mattresses for about 2 weeks. We went to all the big stores, Mattress Firm, Rooms to Go, Mattress One, Bed Pros. Before we spent between $1100 and $1500 for the bed we wanted, We saw Mattress Avenue had the same brands that we had looked at. We were Very Impressed with the Knowledge that the Owner had about all the competition and all the different types of Mattresses Available to us….Bottom Line, we walked out of His showroom Saving $400 Off the same bed we saw at Mattress Firm.
